When my Rottweiler gave birth, she gave birth to about 11 and all of them were black so it was very difficult to identify them. I needed to be able to identify them because they were not feeding well due to their number so I had to make sure they took turns feeding.

I had to get collars of different collars to be able to identify them. Some collars I got were too big and some don’t stay on for long but I did get some good ones.

Before we look at the puppy collars, there are some things you should know. You should make sure the leashes are loose and you should check them frequently so you would know when to adjust the collar.

Macato Designs is a shop on Etsy that sells different types of dog collars and other dog stuff.

This newborn puppy collar is made with a light paracord. You can choose lengths ranging from 4 inches to 8 inches and if you want a smaller length, you can add it to your personalization bar, and you can also choose if you want random colors or specific colors.

The 4-inch collars can open up to 8 inches while the 8-inch collar opens to 16 inches. The shop does not accept returns and exchanges.

These puppy leashes are easily adjustable.

Phasianidae whelping identification collars on Etsy

Phasianidae is another shop on Etsy that sells different types of dog collars and dog stuff.

The paracord used for this newborn is a bit heavier and stronger than the previous one we just looked at. 

When choosing size options, you have to choose between Small, Standard, large, and XL which is quite confusing but when you check the item details, they explain the sizes more.

You can choose the colors you want or colors will be chosen for you.  This shop also does not accept returns or exchanges.

UIUIX newborn puppy collars

These collars are sold in a set of 15 on Amazon and they are of different colors. You can attach them around your puppy’s neck and they can be adjusted.

Unlike newborn puppy collars similar to this one, this one is smooth on both sides. It has a long Velcro.

Some owners complained that the Velcro started to fade after about two to three weeks.
