Best Kennels for great Danes including foldable ones and the one for travel

So yesterday on the Reddit group, dog parents with great Danes discussed their problems of finding big kennels for their dogs, and those who have succeeded in getting big kennels gave their recommendations to the others.

It was really helpful so I decided to share the best recommendations for you here. So in today’s post, we will be looking at the best kennels for Great Danes.

Midwest homes ginormous 54″ L × 45″ × 37″ W crate

This had the highest recommendation yesterday. This crate is a large metal crate, it has two doors (one at the front and one at the side) and each door has three secure slide bolt lathes per door.

In addition, this crate has four rubber roller feet to protect your floor and a durable east to clean leak-proof plastic pan on the base of the crate.

It also utilizes 4 drop pins so it can securely handle your great dane and it has a patent pending L-hook that prevents sides from bowing.

This kennel for Great Danes was said to be travel-friendly including travel by air. This crate is made from aluminum, its dimensions are 54.5″ L ×42″ H × 35.5 W, and has ventilation holes of 0.817″.

This dog crate takes about 60 seconds to set up, you can easily open the cage with one hand from the outside, and you can also stack similar sizes on each other, so if you have two dogs and you don’t have space, you can stack one on the other.

The military-grade handles on this cage are very durable. With a door guard attachment and IATA brackets which are found on their website, this crate becomes compatible for flight.

This is best for great Danes who have not fully grown or smaller great Danes. This crate is made of durable metal wires with a black e-coat finish, it has round corners for safety, and it has a durable leak-proof plastic pan that is held in place by the wire pan stop.

This dog crate is foldable, it has a single door with two heavy-duty slide-bolt latches and it comes with a soft faux fur bed.

This is a 54″ L × 37″ W × 45″ H metal wire crate with a single door that has 3 secure slide bolt lathes, it has a leak-proof pan and it is foldable.

The great Dane parents that use this kennel say they like it because it has pins that run through each corner making it very secure unlike those that have hooks that the dogs might be able to push open.

Though this is cheaper, I don’t recommend it for dogs who are not well trained because it has no top and they can try and jump unless you decide to buy the tops which are sold separately but if your dog understands boundaries and you need something cheaper then this is good.

It has eight 24″ by 30″ panels, it is less heavy and can easily be folded.

Note: The manufacturers can change the materials used or design without announcing it, so you should also check information about products before you buy.
