Best cordless dog grooming clippers (dont waste money on bad ones)

I have been getting some questions about cordless dog grooming clippers but the thing is, I am not a professional dog groomer, I am just a dog owner who does some grooming for my dogs at home.

However, I went to the grooming service I normally use and I spent a day there asking a lot of questions and gathering answers from different groomers there. It was really nice hearing different suggestions from the different groomers.

I have been able to organize all the information I gathered about cordless dog grooming clippers and that is what we will be looking at today.

Heiniger opal cordless dog grooming clipper

Heiniger opal cordless dog grooming clipper

A good number of the groomers there were using the Heiniger opal cordless clipper as their primary clipper, it has two speeds (2600 and 3100 double strokes per minute), and they say it lasts about three hours on the first speed.

This clipper comes with a number 10 clipper blade and is compatible with all standard A5 blades for Andis, Wahl, and Oster clippers. It does not make much noise and I saw it cut through thick coats nicely.

It comes with two 2850 mAh lithium ion batteries which can last up to 200 minutes of use per charge on the first speed. The battery takes about 60 to 80 minutes to charge and there is an LED light that shows you the remaining battery, it comes with a charger and a storage case.

The groomers were really comfortable with the design and they said it was not too heavy.

Wahl Arco 5 in 1 cordless dog grooming clipper

Wahl Arco 5 in 1 cordless dog grooming clipper

From what I was told, this clipper is not effective for full haircuts except for small dogs and there considered small to be about 20 to 25 lbs. They use this cordless dog grooming clipper for mostly for the face, feet, private parts, finish work, and other sensitive/hard-to-reach areas.

This clipper has 2 drop-in removable NiMH rechargeable batteries which could last up to 70 minutes if you charge them for 75 minutes (that is its full charge time). It is slim, lightweight, and has a rotary motor

The 5 in 1 blade has #9, #10, #15, #30, and #40 blade sizes in 1 blade.  It operates on a single speed of about 5500 strokes per minute. It comes with a charger, charging stand, and a 1 year warranty.

The KM cordless clipper was also what many of them considered a good choice for a primary clipper, it has a #10 detachable blade, and lithium ion rechargeable batteries which last about 2 hours with 60 minutes of charging time. It works at two speeds (3000 and 3700 SPM).

I was told it delivers more power when you reach the tough areas on the dog.

It has a brushless motor, a voltage range of 100v to 240v, and a 5-year warranty. It can also be used corded in case you can find your batteries.

Kenchii Flash 5 cordless grooming clipper

Kenchii Flash 5 cordless dog grooming clipper

This is a 4 in 1 clipper and like the 5 in 1 we looked at above, it is not for a full haircut except small dogs and other parts that I mentioned above.

It has a 5-speed smart motor with the highest being 7000 RPMs, and a rechargeable lithium battery that can last for about 5 hours when fully charged.

This cordless dog grooming clipper has automatic voltage conversion, a smart LCD display that shows speed, battery life, and when blades need to be cleaned, a one-year warranty, and is compatible with flash blades. It also has a charging stand.
