Due to where I live, whenever I use dog long lines on my dogs it usually gets dirty and soggy, so, after doing research, I found out about biothane dog long lines.
Biothane is the name of the material used in making the long line, it is waterproof which prevents it from getting wet and it does not pick up dirt.
After some tries and recommendations from Reddit, I was able to get to know the best dog long lines and those are what we will be looking at in this post.

K9 Tactical Gear is a small business that sells dog gear and stuff. They sell two types of waterproof dog long lines; the 3/8″ width biothane leash and the 1/2″ biothane leash, you can choose lengths up to 60 feet.
I got to choose if I wanted a handle, an O-ring, the color I wanted, and the kind of snap I wanted.
I was told that the width of the biothane dog long line adds to the weight a lot, that is why is get the 5/8″ for my bigger dogs and the 1/2″ for the smaller ones.
They accept returns and exchanges but on certain terms.
High Tail Hikes waterproof dog long lines
High Tail Hikes is a professional dog walking company and they also sell waterproof dog long lines, I trusted them because I believe that since they walk dogs they would put a lot of thought into making it and I was not disappointed.
They sell biothane leashes which you can buy in lengths up to 50 feet and that becomes a dog long line. I got to choose the color and width I wanted and customized my handle and there were other options for a traffic handle and a quick-release long line keeper.
They have a warranty and return policy.
JIM HODGES biothane dog long line
I ordered this from Amazon during one of my travels, I had to choose between the width of 1/2″, 3/4″, and 3/8″, the maximum length was 32.5 feet and I had to choose either color black or orange.
It was very strong and functional during my travel and I enjoyed using it. it was heavy enough to maintain control but light enough to not be a burden to my dog.

Viper biothane long line
This is another waterproof dog long line I have bought from Amazon. Unlike the JIM HODGES long line I had multiple colors to choose from and I had to choose between 1/2″, 3/8″, 5/8″, and 3/4″. They had lengths up to 33 feet.
The biothane long line was strong and the brass snap was very solid. It served its purpose well.
